Important to Detox: Healthy Body or Beauty?

Toxicity is a real health issue. We ingest toxins from food and air. Toxins may be byproducts of stress, inflammation or a poor lifestyle. We may also be affected by environmental contamination such as lead/heavy metals either inhaled directly or ingested after being deposited on crops, water and soil.

One of the major symptoms of chemical toxicity seems to be a breakdown of the immune function, which encourages all kinds of symptoms in the body:

_ headaches _ muscle and joint pain _ fatigue_ abdominal bloating _ heartburn _ irritability_ allergies, hives _ depression _ flu-like symptoms Toxic Load

When we think about detoxing it’s usually about what foods we should or shouldn’t be eating, what juices to drink or what supplements to take.

Some people choose to detox for beauty purposes only with a focus on how the skin looks, but it should also matter how you feel.

It really does not matter why you choose to detox because you are automatically addressing both health and beauty.

When you are thinking of detoxing, whatever plan you choose there are few things to keep in mind:

  1. Is my body ready to detox?
  2. Can my detox organs handle the stress of detox products?
  3. Am I doing everything to help my body to detox safely?
  4. Is it the right time for me to detox?

The best time to try a detox is with the changing of the seasons, especially Spring and Fall.Regardless of what detox plan you choose, make sure it will not overly stress you detox organs (liver, kidneys, lymphatic system). Make sure to consult with a trained professional to help choose a product. It is best to choose something that helps you detox slowly, especially for your first time. It is somewhat common to have a slight headache or flu-like symptoms when detoxing. However, if you start experiencing joint pains while detoxing then it is likely going to fast or is too harsh for your body.

With any detox program you should consider your lymphatic system. The lymphatic system helps rid the body of toxins and waste. A well thought out detox plan combined with lymph drainage massage and dry brushing is the key to a successful outcome.

What Does the Lymphatic System Do? Lymph drainage massage

The lymphatic system is responsible for transporting lymph fluids with white blood cells inside them. These are used to help the body to get rid of old toxins. It can transport these cells and remove excess interstitial fluids in most tissues. It clears out harmful compounds to make it easier for the body to stay healthy. The lymphatic system also strengthens your immune system.

The Lymphatic System has no pump, its nourishing, water balancing eliminative functions are dependent upon muscle contractions, diaphragm breathing and body movements.

Why You Need Lymph Drainage Massage?

Some of the symptoms of toxicity seems to be a breakdown of the immune function, which encourages all kinds of symptoms in the body, such as:

* headaches * muscle and joint pain *fatigue  *bloating  *heartburn  *irritability *allergies *depression  *flu-like symptoms, etc.

A Lymph Drainage Massage can help you protect your body and to make it feel stronger. It is estimated that it will enhance the body’s lymph flow volume by about twenty times its normal rate.

The Benefits of Lymph Drainage Massage:
Lymphatic System
  • It often makes it easier for the body to heal itself after surgery.
  • The body can can relax and feel at ease. This is especially thanks to the reduction of pain in the body.
  • Stimulates the immune system
  • Helps eliminate toxins
  • Improves memory and concentration

You will benefit from the advantages of such a massage over time. You will notice that the massage has helped to get your system to feel a little healthier and easier to manage over time.

What About Dry Brushing?

Dry brushing is another procedure that may be useful for the detox process. This involves a sensible procedure where much of the spinal column, the feet, and shoulders are brushed in a massaging pattern through the use of strong brushes that relax the body.

This is used to clean out the lymphatic system by triggering the functions it requires in order to stay active. It will particularly clear out old compounds as the area is relaxed and cleared of old impurities. This makes the entire body feel a little stronger and at ease.

The lymphatic system must be triggered with a sense of clean living to help control the body and make it feel healthy. With any detox program dry brushing and lymph drainage massage are needed to help keep the body healthy and functioning at its optimum.
